What to Expect for Testing in 2021
2020 forced businesses to go almost entirely digital. All eyes were on digital platforms this past year — whether they were ready or not. And that made web and mobile app testing even more high stakes.
2021 will be the year these businesses invest in intelligent test automation to provide better experiences for customers.
In 2021, we’ll see test suite sizes growing for mobile and web apps along with an increased adoption of technologies that can serve different personas on the team. Interest is growing in scriptless and BDD technologies, which can help teams expand test automation.
Teams will also increase their investment in mobile and web applications through progressive web apps (PWAs) and newer and more engaging mobile apps like App Clips and APKs. These will provide better digital experiences for customers.
