Perfecto Mobile to Speak at First-Ever Mobile Track at Jenkins User Conference

Mobile app quality leader to discuss the benefits of extending continuous integration and continuous quality to mobile application testing

JENKINS USER CONFERENCE/US-EAST, Alexandria, VA - June 18, 2015 – Perfecto Mobile, the world’s leader in mobile app quality, today will speak in two sessions as part of the mobile track at the Jenkins User Conference World Tour 2015, held by CloudBees, the Enterprise Jenkins Company. The two-day conference, attended by Jenkins developers, build managers, QA, DevOps practitioners, IT managers/executives, architects and IT operations within the Jenkins community, is the world’s biggest gathering of Jenkins users.

In Perfecto Mobile’s sessions, attendees will be able to discuss and learn the best ways to use continuous integration within mobile app development to begin testing earlier in the SDLC. With the Perfecto Mobile Jenkins Plugin, enterprise teams can perform automated functional testing on every build, giving them the ability to discover app defects sooner, deliver faster feedback and release cycles, and, ultimately, have better performing apps.

To learn more about the benefits of a continuous quality approach to mobile testing and the Perfecto Mobile Jenkins Plugin for CI, attendees are encouraged to join the following two mobile sessions:

Fast Feedback: Jenkins and Functional Mobile App Testing Without Pulling Your Hair Out This session led by Carlo Cadet, Product Evangelist and Director of Technology and Uzi Eilon, Product Evangelist explores the challenges of test automation and offers attendees lessons learned from multiple successful projects that are driving fast feedback through implementing a CI practice using Jenkins.

Integrating Mobile Automation with Jenkins: A Case Study Using Perfecto Mobile with Jenkins This presentation from David Dang, VP of Automation Solutions of Zenergy, covers a cast study involving a large U.S. insurance company that used mobile automation to proactively improve mobile website and application testing activities. Topics covered include:

  • Using one script to test mobile and desktop websites
  • Ensuring smoke test execution as part of the continuous integration process
  • Providing timely reporting to make go/no-go decisions

“Jenkins User Conference is the perfect place for developers to learn about extending continuous integration to mobile app testing,” said Kohsuke Kawaguchi, the founder of Jenkins and CloudBees CTO. “Our community is leading the way in making the transition to mobile and the JUC offers an opportunity to learn, explore, network face-to-face and shape the next evolution of Jenkins development with continuous quality.”
