All About Xray for Jira

JiraXray is a popular test management plugin for Jira from Atlassian. Xray allows you to integrate your test management activities into Jira for both manual and automated tests. Similar add-ons would be Helix ALM Jira that also integrates with Perfecto and offers a deeper set of test management capabilities.

How Xray and Perfecto Work Together

Automated test results that are executed in the Perfecto Cloud platform are often stored in a test management solution like Xray. The automated test results (test executions) can then be stored alongside manual test results for easy reporting and tracking inside Jira.

The test results are sent to the Jira REST API for collection as Xray test results. These results are sent during the test execution cycles. View an example Quantum (BDD) test integrating with Xray here.
